We're celebration people, we're children of the Light We're Easter sunrise seekers, for God conquered the grave and the night. Hearts of stone have been broken, inviting a bright new morn, Death, Oh where is thy victory, to eternal life we are born.
Chorus: Don't you feel the power of risen king, As the organ leads us, "Christ the Lord is risen" we sing. Saints from every nation, wave their banners high. Shouting out "Hallelujah" we rejoice in the Easter sky.
If the story had ended at Christmas, if the stone had not been rolled away. If we just had his healings and teachings, would we gather around this way? Shouting loud hosannas before an old rugged cross. Trumpets sounding toward heaven, giving hope to our sorrow and loss?
Oh, if your heart this Easter morning lies could in it's dying grave, Remember, it's only in Christ's rising that God has the power to save. Why don't you join Resurrection people, become a child of the Light Be an Easter Sunrise Seeker for God's conquered your grave and your night!
