As a young boy, who loved God and loved
the church, I learned that being gay was
an abomination to God. Knowing I was gay,
I prayed to God for a sign that I had indeed
offended him/her and that God had not created me
just as I am. God's answer came in the form of the
"gift of song." Anytime the "states and powers that fashion, shape, and BLAME"
filled me with doubt and guilt,
I opened my mouth and sang knowing that God would NEVER have wasted such
a wonderful gift on an abomination.
My Mom says singing is praying twice.
This one is for you Lord.
